Randy Ellison, PRC is a Research Consultant for Hill Research Consultants and President of Targoz Strategic Marketing, a Nashville - based marketing firm offering marketing and opinion research, corporate strategy, business planning, communications and marketing planning services.
Before forming Targoz Strategic Marketing, Randy was Director of Marketing Development for the National Federation of Independent Business, the nation's leading small business association, with offices in Washington, D.C., and all 50 state capitals. In that capacity, he managed marketing research, marketing communications & advertising.
Prior to joining NFIB, he worked in marketing and media research at Gannett, the leading international news and information company, where he managed advertising, content, and media planning research.
He has also advised major advertising clients ranging from Rite Aid to Mobil on how to optimize their direct marketing programs at ADVO, the largest full-service targeted direct mail marketing services company in the U.S. The company's shared mail advertising programs, now part of Valassis and branded as Red Plum, are distributed weekly and cover up to 100 million U.S. households.
Randy’s graduate degree was awarded by The George Washington University, Washington DC and he received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Tennessee. Randy’s experience includes work with Fortune 500 companies, associations, regional banks, and media firms.
